Anantnag, Jan 31 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir police Saturday claimed to have arrested a person along with heroin (narcotic drugs) from his possession in south Kashmir's Anantnag distrcit.

An official told news agency KNS that police station Anantnag during a naka checking apprehended one person namely Rouf Ahmed Lachoo son of Mushtaq Ahmed, a resident of Shirpora and recovered 100 grams of heroin (narcotic drug) from his possession. 

He said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at police station Anantnag.

The official said that the operation was coordinated by DySP headquarters with SHO Anantnag and DO general bus stand under the overall supervision of by SP headquarters. (KNS)
