Handwara, Apr 04 (KNS): People’s Democratic Party (PDP) senior leader Ghulam Nabi Pandithpori Sunday expressed dismay over the delay in making the Batgund bridge functional for traffic.

In a statement issued to KNS , Pandithpori said due to the continuous closure of the bridge a large number of people are being forced to choose the long way to reach their destinations.

He also said that the district administration earlier said they will make it functional within three days but so far no steps have been taken up.

He has demanded immediate work on the said bridge.

He also said that the work on receiving station
 Safalpora Qaziabad receiving station Safalpora Qaziabad was started seven years back and till now it has not been completed by authorities leaving people to suffer.

“at the time of constriction it was supposed to complete within years but despite passing seven years, It is still incomplete."

He has demanded immediate completion of the receiving station and said it will provide a sign of relief to the people of the area.(KNS)
