Low intensity Earthquake hits Srinagar

Srinagar, September 22 (KNS): A
A low intensity earthquake measuring 3.6 hit Srinagar tonight.
Panic gripped Kashmir particularly in Srinagar where people moved out of their houses.
A Srinagar resident said that they feared something war like situation as Chinese and Indian troops are seeing eye to eye in Ladakh.
According to National Center for Seismology, earthquake of magnitude

Director Disaster Management J&K Amir Ali confirmed to KNS.
"It was a shallow earthquake. It's epicenter was in Srinagar and depth was 5 Km," he said.
Meanwhile Budgam Police clarified that
"No explosion by Airforce as confirmed from Air station Srinagar.( Sic).(KNS)
