LG should investigate why ration stores are shut in Kashmir: Muzafar Shah

Srinagar Jan 15 (KNS): Senior Leader Awami National Conference Muzafar shah today asked the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to investigate why people of Kashmir are being deprived of ration.

Taking to KNS, he said, " Officials tell them that only those people will get ration who have adhar cards, only  60 percent population has adhar card. where will ,40 percent people go ?. They are poor people. How will they procure ration. From Dec 25 all ration store are shut"

"My suggestion to LG is to arrange adhar card for the whole population at earliest. LG should investigate about those people on whose behest ration stores are shut.

" Once there was a time a person used to get 35 kg of rice now same person gets 5 kg and sometimes even 2.5 kg . This is kind of mafia running here. Govt needs to see where will people go.

Where will people get their ration.Earlier a family used to get 10 ltr kerosene, now they get 1 ltr. May I ask LG why this discrimination, when people of other states get 10 ltr. Earlier they used to get 1 kg, then 700gm, now they get nothing. LG should investigate whose hand is in depriving Kashmiri of their ration.
