Srinagar November 11:(KNS) The Enforcement Wing of LWDA today sealed an under construction structure in Gagribal area. The said construction was being raised in violation of norms and was earlier demolished as well. However, the voilation was reported again and was sealed this time. The Vice Chairman, LWDA was also accompanying the Enforcement Wing and the structure was sealed in his presence.

Meanwhile demolition, anti encroachment drive was launched from the last two days on 10.11.20 and 11.11.20 by Enforcement Wing under the supervision of Vice Chairman LDA accompanied by Enforcement Officer in which a lot of illegally raised constructions were demolished and encroachments were removed in the areas of Harwan, Shalimar, rainawari, dalgate, saderbal and Lone mohalla Nowpora which includes 09 single storeys, 04
second storeys, 04 plinths. One structure was also sealed in the area of Buchwara Dalgate.

Vice Chairman LDA in his message has warned that such elements shall be dealt strictly and FIRs registered against them. He said after receiving reports about these illegal constructions and encroachments, the Enforcement wing of LAWDA immediately swung into action and launched a demolition drive in and around the lakes.
He said already scores of such encroachments have been removed and the drive would continue with fully intensity.
All the public residing within the LDA jurisdiction are hereby directed that not to go for any sort of illegal constructions/encroachments. As the Enforcement wing will continue with demolition of illegal construction moreover the Tipper/Load carried owners are directed not carry construction material in the prohibited area of Dal/ Nigeen Lake without permission.(KNS)
