Srinagar, Sep 09 (KNS): Residents of Hubbi Colony Lal Bazaar in summer capital Srinagar Wednesday expressed annoyance over the move of SMC who is willing to convert Community Hall into Office and appealed authorities to keep the building reserved for public issues.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), people of the area said the said Community Hall has been constructed in year 2012 with an aim to provide space to community so that it will hold events there but today we came to know that SMC is mulling to change the motive of building which is unfortunate and injustice with the people of area.
They added what is the fun of constructing this public importance building years back and now shaping it to office?
The aggrieved residents said they will never allow authorities to convert the establishment into office and warned if our demand is not taken into account they will hit the streets.
