Srinagr September 25:(KNS) The last match of one group of the tournament was played between Lal Sports and Hyderia FC on 24th September at Khan Bagh ground. The last whistle of the game concludes royal road for Hyderia FC by winning 4 goals against lal Sports. The Hyderia FC makes the Elbow’s room for qualifying quarter finals. Raja Musharaf achieved the feat of scoring three goals by hitting the nail on the head and took the title of Man of the Match. Lal Sports also had several chances to score but they missed the beat.
The matches of another group will be played from 28th September where teams will be vying to enter quarter finals. Burry FC, Al-Furqan, Al-Zehran Fc and Hyderia Fc have qualified for quarter finals after facing uphill games.
Management said, before the tournament, we take a look down memory lane and the recent past pandemic to see how much it has affected and burked the talent of youngsters. But we were totally astonished to witness players raring to get back to the ground after showcasing their talent. With this regard, future matches of quarter finals seem to be very exciting as we have witnessed the youngsters with incredible stamina and laudable skills.
Management head person, Mr Salim Kaloo said we are looking forward to organize 7-a-side tournament after completion of current knockout tournament under flood lights and are totally excited for the same.(KNS)
