Srionagar March 28:(KNS)  Peoples Democratic Party state sectarary youth Arif Laigaroo has extended his greetings and wishes people on the occasion of Shab e Barat. 
Shab-e-Barat is observed on the night between day 14 and 15 of Sha’ban, the eighth month of the Islamic calendar.Describing Shabi-e-Barat is a unique and pious night, Laigaroo said entire Muslim Ummah vigorously pray to please Almight Allah, besides seeking his forgiveness during this night, he added and said that Shab-e-Bharat being full of blessing from Allah, shall continue to lead the mankind at the path of peace, harmony, togetherness and righteousness.
 “On this day, people visit mosques, and the graves of their loved ones and light candles and offer prayers to Allah. The night is observed as the night of forgiveness or day of atonement,” he said. “My sincere request to people to stay at home with their families and continue practicing social distancing in view of corona pandemic.” “May this Shab-e-Barat bring mercy, blessing, benefit, pardon and forgiveness descend upon the people of the earth.” Laigaroo added.(KNS)
