Kulgam police seek civic help to trace missing youth


Srinagar, Apr 19 (KNS): Kulgam Police on Sunday sought civic help in tracing a male youth who is missing since March 27.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the family members of missing youth approached all contacts and tried him to find out but of no avail. On April 3, 2020 they approached PS Kulgam and lodged a missing complaint of one namely Raja Nadeem son of Abdul Rehman Rather of Ashmuji Kulgam who was pursuing Bachelor’s degree in veterinary science (BVSc) 4th semester at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology (SKAUST) Shohama Alasteng Campus.
In this regard Police Station Kulgam filed a missing report vide DD No. 08 dated 03.04.2020 and started investigations to trace out the missing boy.
Notably the family of the missing youth had made a video appealing him to return as they suspect that he had joined militant ranks. However the circumstances of his missing as well as his present whereabouts are being keenly investigated by police.
