Srinagar, Apr 12 (KNS): Kulgam Police on Sunday arrested two notorious drug peddlers along with contraband substance from their possession. Police also seized vehicle used by the two arrested persons.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), continuing its drive against drug peddlers Kulgam Police after receiving reliable information laid a tight Naka at Pariwan Nillow during intervening night of April 11-12, 2020. During the checking police apprehended two persons namely Aadil Ahmad Pala son of Bashir Ahmad and Aamir Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Rashid, both were residents of Chogalpora, Kulgam.
According to police, two kilograms of charas (cannabis resin) like substance was recovered from their possession and the vehicle used by the duo bearing registration No. JK18B-0278 was also seized.
In this regard a case under FIR No. 60/2020 US 8/20, 29 NDPS Act stands registered in police station Kulgam and further investigations have been taken up. (KNS)
