Srinagar, May 26 (KNS): While demanding immediate repatriation of Kashmiri pilgrims stranded in Iran for the past several months, President J&K Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian Hujatul Islam Wal-Muslimeen Aga Syed Hassan Almosvi Alsafvi expressed regret over the arrival of an empty passenger plane from Iran which reached Delhi yesterday and none of the pilgrims were deported.
In a statement issued to KNS, he said, most of these pilgrims are elderly men and women who need top priority repatriation. He added that the problems of these pilgrims are increasing day by day and their families are suffering from various worries. Meanwhile, Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian paid homage to the medical staff especially the doctors who perform their duties in the current epidemic situation. Anjuman-e-Sharie strongly condemned the ill-treatment of police with Dr. Syed Maqbool Mosvi Zadibal and CMO Bandipora. The Spokesman of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shain said that the ill-treatment with doctors under the guise of lockdown is the worst example of anti-humanitarianism. Spokesman demanded that such security persons who had ill-treated be identified and legal action be taken against them, the statement said (KNS)
