Danish Bhat appeals to LG to look into the issue as students are suffering

Srinagar, Nov 23 (KNS): The students of Kashmir University on Tuesday protested at the campus over the closure of library facility at the campus.

The University students were protesting at the premises of Allama Iqbal library demanding the opening of 24*7 library facility.

They were holding placards demanding to open the facility as soon as possible.The students said that due to lockdown we have already suffered a lot and now the closing of this facility has made it more difficult for us to study properly.

Meanwhile, SMC Corporator, Danish Bhat also appealed to the authorities to look into this matter so that students won’t suffer anymore.

Taking to microblogging site Twitter Danish said that Kashmir University students protesting over closure of 24*7 library facility at the campus & demands its immediate opening. I request Hon’ble LG @manojsinha_ ji to look into this genuine demand of our students.(KNS)
