KAS officer Tasaduq Jeelani lost his Covid-19 battle


Srinagar, July 31 (KNS): Senior KAS officer Tassaduq Jeelani on Friday lost his battle against Covid-19, officials confirmed.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Director SKIMS AG Ahangar said “Tasaduq Jeelani has lost his battle in SKIMS Bemina”.
He termed the moment very “unfortunate” and appealed people to strictly adhere upon Covid-19 guidelines. “Wear mask mandatory, keep social and physical distance of minimum 9 feet, ensure personal hygiene, avoid markets, public and crowded places, wash hands regularly with sanitizers, refrain from unnecessary visits to hospitals and relatives”, Ahangar said.
When asked how masses will resume their affairs in pandemic, Dr Ahangar urged people to go for e-business management, e-education, e-office managements and emphasized upon to follow the directives of doctors and experts from time to time.
Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary also confirmed the news in his tweet. “I find it difficult to share, our colleague Tasaduq Jeelani has lost battle against Covid. He had responded well, tested negative too but couldn’t overcome post Covid complications. May his soul rest in peace”, he tweeted. (KNS)
