Kadfeen asks Govt to make progress on dialywagers regularisation public

Srinagar October 14:(KNS) Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Wednesday asked the government to make public the progress made in regularising more than 60 thousand daily wagers in Jammu and Kashmir and why no dilatory mode is being adopted into the issue so far.

According to statement to KNS,Kadfeen said that it is ironic to find that the government has pushed the issue of regularising the services of more than 60 thousand daily wagers in Jammu and Kashmir under the carpet and left the services of these people collectively in lurch.

He maintained that on one hand the government is making tall claims of youth empowerment and on the other hand it is doing everything to disempower the young generation of Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kadfeen, the daily wagers who have even discharging their duties in various departments for decades all together were waiting that their orders of regularisation will be issued to them soon. However, said Kadfeen, the present government seems to have adopted a different approach and there are fears that it has kept the issue in limbo for no reason.

Kadfeen urged the dispensation to understand the gravity of the issue and real it on humanitarian basis. He said that a holistic approach is needed to be taken by the administration as decades have gone by and poor families continue to suffer. (KNS)
