Srinagar, Jan 13( KNS): Principal SKIMS Medical College Dr Riyaz Ahmed Untoo today said the hospital is allowing admission of patients in non surgical departments from 15th Jan and admission in surgical facilities, emergency services from 19th of January .
Speaking to KNS, Dr Untoo advised people not to lower guard against covid.
" Less numbers of attendants should visit  hospital, patients should wear mask all the time even after they are administered vaccines. We won't allow any gatherings in the hospital. We have issued guidelines how to go for consultation, and issue patient cards,"
He added, "We are finalising all the arrangements for starting non-surgical, surgical and emergency treatments."

He advised patients to weak  Mask for protection against Covid19. 
"We take every precaution, peoople also to take necessary precautions while coming here for consultations," he said.
Untoo about vaccine
It is a goo feeling that vaccination drive will start here also after inauguation by LG. All the medical, non -medical staff data base has been provided to the concerned. 
All the arrangements has been completed as per the issued guidelines for vaccination.

He also said about 1500 covid patients were treated, fatalities were very less in JVC.
"107 surgeries of maternity cases were performed. Doctors, paramedics, sanitation staff worked very hard in those times. Infection rate here was very less due to the extra care which was taken and guidelines followed," he said.

Regarding a question about how challenging is take care of hospital visitors, Administrator JVC, Dr Shifa Deva said, " We have a proper system. Our Principal  has issued a very proper plan for treatment of Covid patients. Now for non-covid patients we have made masks and sanitizers also available besides other initiatives.
It is very safe for patients to visit hospitals."

Meanwhile Patients were all praise for the doctors for providing treatment and medical consultations .
