Srinagar April 29 (KNS):The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir today shoot a letter to Lt. Governor Shri. G.C. Murmu, raising many important measures to be taken up in wake of depressing 29 situation confronting people after the outbreak out of Covid 19.
According to KNS Mir also raised his concern with regard to many issues of public importance, besides seeking restoration of 4G net, besides bringing back stranded Laboures, Students form different states and abroad.
The JKPCC President G.A. Mir in hisletter  to LG raised various concerns, suggesting many important measures inorder to face the current imbroglio that has struck the society in shape of the Covid `19. there were many important measures required to be taken up in the interest people of Jammu and Kashmir, Mir wrote to LG.
G.A.Mir told the LG in his letter that he (G.A. Mir) observed that there has been some lapses, when it comes to screening or necessary quarantine of travelers before 22nd March, besides identification of suspects, which has not been done, resulting in the Virus has spread rapidly.
He  urged the LG  in his letter that the testing of suspects need to be intensified to ensure that the virus doesn’t travel to other places in J&K, besides ensuring that the Doctors and other Para Medical staff  be provided with every required facility, they need to be fully equipped to treat Covid 19 Patient fearlessly, G.A. Mir told LG G.C.  Murmu.
PCC President urged the LG in his letter that the Labourers, Students and patients stuck in indifferent states and abroad especially Bangladesh were facing tremendous hardships due to the lockdown, urging him to take speedy measures to bring them back to their places.
Mir also raised his serious concern with regard to internet in J&K and urged the LG to take up the issue with the MHA and ensure restoration of 4G interest, mentioning that the Security Agencies have not even opposed Internet even during the peak years of militancy.
PCC President also urged the LG in his letter that Doctors, Students and essential services require 4G net very badly coz it will help them to achieve their targets in their respective fields, at the earliest.
Mir also raised the issues of different policies adopted in different districts thereby throwing confusion among the people and suggested that there should be single window policy which will be accessible to everyone whether they are stranded people within J&K or outside J&K.
PCC President urged that the UT Administration should adopt a uniform policy with regard to movement of people in J&K, there should not be any pick and choose policy. Mir wrote in his letter.
G.A. Mir also raised his concern with regard to distribution of free ration among the poor and needy people, urging the LG that there has to be a proper supervision, so that the free ration reaches directly to deserving families.
PCC President in his letter also hailed LG G.C.Murm, entire UT Administration, Doctors, Civil and Police Administration over fighting against the fatal Virus, besides ensuring every facility and safety to people of Jammu and Kashmir.(KNS)
