Jammu, June 25:(KNS) Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party, President, Syed Altaf Bukhari has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of prominent writer and former Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Prof Nilamber Dev Sharma.
Sharma breathed his last in New Delhi after a brief illness. In a statement to the press, JKAP President Syed Altaf Bukhari prayed for the peace of departed soul and expressed his sympathy with the bereaved family members. Bukhari prayed to God to give enough courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
Bukhari hailed the contribution of Prof Nilamber Dev Sharma in literature as a prominent scholar, writer of his time, and promoter of Dogri language.
The JKAP President said that “We have lost an eminent writer in literature who was known for his scholarly works.”(KNS)
