Srinagar January 26:(KNS) Jammu and Kashmir Editors Forum, Tuesday congratulated the bonofied and founding member of JK Editors Forum Farooq Ahmad Wani on being granted the state award by the Jammu and Kashmir government.

Convenor and Co-Convenor in a statement said granting State Award to Farooq Wani is a proud moment for the entire media fraternity of Kashmir. “It is a proud moment for all of us. It is not an individual achievement but the achievement of the entire Kashmiri media fraternity,” they said.

They said that the entire media fraternity is happy and congratulate the Brighter Kashmir Editor-in-Chief Farooq Ahmed Wani for achieving such a great feat.

“We look forward to other journalists also achieving the same feat in future,” they said.

The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday granted the State Award to the Brighter Kashmir Editor-in-Chief Farooq Ahmad Wani.
