JD(U) Dissolves JK Unit after poor Performance in DDC Elections


Jammu 26 December (KNS): Janta Dal Union Party president J&K G M Shaheen dissolved the Party's units in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday to restructure the organisation.
He said this while taking to KNS and added that all office-bearers of the party as well as frontal organisations were removed with immediate effect.

Saying that the Party won only five seats in recently held District Devlopment Council Elections in Jammu and Kashmir due to absence of active poll campaigning.

He further said that the decesion to put a new team in place before the assembly Polls which can happen anytime in UT.

"The step for reorganization of Unit has been taken to recover electoral base after poor performance in the recent DDC polls where we won just five seats. We have been taking Feedback from Party workers and executives .After going through all the aspects,the Unit will be reorganised with new enthusiasm,he added(KNS).
