Handwara October 04:(KNS) The inaugural of Javid Ali Soccer was played on Sunday at the sports field of Shatgund Payeen of Langate between Chinar Football Club verses Kirmani Football Club Langate. The event is organized by local youth with collaboration Bangus Soccer Organization. The locals explain the event as a festival for their village. Nobody would have that thousands of fans will throng the venue.
Chinar Football Club Rafiabad and Kirmani Football Club Langate clashed with each other in the inaugural at Shatgund Payeen sports field in which Kirmani Football Club Langate China Football Club Rafiabad by one goal. The match ended at 7 pm. Huge number of fans gathered at the venue to witness the match. From senior to elders, the crowd enjoyed the high voltage clash. This was the first event of its kind organized at sports field Shatgund Payeen. The opening ceremony of the Javid Ali made the people of adjoining areas to forget their day to day issues. The coivid19 guidelines and SOP were strictly followed by people with social distancing. Only after following covid19 guidelines the visitors were allowed to visit the beautiful sports ground. The sports field is covered by lush green forests and west side by paddy fields. The video recorded of the match was prepared and provided to the football lovers. The opening ceremony of Javid Ali Soccer was attended by many officials from Youth service and Sports department Kupwara. The BDC Chairman from Qalamabad, Tahir Aftab, BDC Chairaman Qaziabad Bashir Ah Mir, and brother of Er Rashid Sheikh Khursheed retired lecturer Bashir Qurashi, and Sarpanch Shatgund Payeen Fayaz Ahmad and many other senior citizens attended the grand ceremony. The Chief organizer Khurshid Reshi journalist by profession said to KNS that holding such event at this remotest place is possible only after wholeheartedly support of locals. Khurshid Reshis extended his thankful note to all guests particularly to the officials from youth service department Kupwara who made this event successful, he said. The Mohd Maqbool and Bashir from youth Service and sports department of zone Langate were the match refries.
The guests later distributed trophies among the participants.(KNS)
