Baramulla 03 December 2020:Several physically-challenged people on Thursday staged a protest infront of DC Office main gate at Baramulla in support of their demands.
Several Members of Jammu and Kashmir Ithaad-e-handicapped 
Welfare Association including men and women's held a protest at Baramulla infront of Deputy Commissioner office against the alleged “non-serious” approach of the present Government in addressing the problems of persons with disabilitie.
Carrying,placards Demands free Electricity water and raise monthly honorarium upto 5000.And grameen bank held our dues in 2019 of seven months still are pending,in 2012 to 2014 we have completed all processes for Disability Scooties but till date we have not received one of them said president of Association.
He added that governments have ignored the rights of physically challenged people and they were silently suffering and facing many problems.
the protesters demanded better living conditions and rehabilitation from the current government.Some of the placards read, “Implement of Job Reservation vertically.”
The protesters threatened to intensify their protests if the government failed to fulfil their demands(KNS).
