J&K Bank Warwan without cash from last three weeks

Kishtwar, June 14, (KNS): The Jammu & Kashmir Bank Unit Warwan in Kishtwar area of Jammu division runs without cash from last three weeks leaving consumers into suffer.
According to reports reaching to KNS, the lone unit of J&K Bank in Kishtwar area has no cash in ATM or in its business unit causing inconvenience to large number of population in pandemic times.
Locals told KNS that there is only one business unit for the large population which is insufficient to cater the need of local people and whenever consumers visiting bank or ATM, they returned without cash.
They appealed Lieutenant Government administration and higher authority of J&K Bank to ensure sufficient cash at the bank round the year so that local population will not suffer further.
When KNS contacted Bank officials, they admitted the problem and associated it with road blockade during unfavourable atmosphere.
“Due to continuous road blockade it becomes impossible to deliver cash to the said unit”, they said and added “In coming days the problems will be addressed”. (KNS)
