Police never arrests any one without evidence: IGP Kashmir
‘counseling programmes for stone pleters to continue’
The IGP denied the allegations that they arrest people without any evidence. “We don’t arrest any person without evidences,” he asserted.
He said that police was investigating as who are the people responsible for instigating youth in stone pelting incidents.
“Initiation of counseling programme will continue as it has shown good response from the boys who have already been released as they don’t indulge in stone throwing incidents again. It is a success for the Jammu and Kashmir Police,” he claimed.
The IGP, however, said that only police cannot curb the stone throwing ‘menace.’ “Parents and guardians should also play their role,” he told KNS.
