urges Lt. Governor to supervise the process of development

Srinagar September 2, (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today expressed serious concern over the incompletion of Verinag Kapran, Dooru Chohan Roads and other similarly situated incomplete projects in J&K
The Party urged the Lt. Governor to address the developmental issues, on war footing basis.
According to statement issued to KNS reads, The JKPCC President G.A. Mir during his tour to various areas in Dooru Assembly Constituency has taken serious notice of the incompletion of the Verinag Kapran and Dooru Chohan roads which have been sanctioned under CRF a long before, but no competed for unknown reasons.
As per the DPR required these roads were to widen up to 33 Ft including Bottle neck, but neither the bottle neck have been cleared nor 33 ft maintained, as a result both the roads sanctioned at a cost of more than Rs. 20.00 Crores were lying incomplete, which is very disappointing.
Mir said the rationale behind incompletion of these roads must come up and the executive agency that had been assigned the job to construct these vital roads must be identified to fix responsibility.
JKPCC President urged the Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha to personally to supervise the incomplete developmental projects in J&K inorder to ensure their completion, as that, the lot of precious time has gone waste, the impact of which was on the overall development of the J&K.
I am feeling very concerned about the difficulties confronting people due to the incomplete projects in J&K, there has to be a mechanism to check the pace of work on various ongoing developmental projects, but unfortunately that is not happening, Mir said.
I would again urge upon the Lt. Governor Manoj Singh to personally supervise the work on developmental projects to ensure their completion, besides ensuring accountability at various levels in the Administration, for the fact, there has been an enormous losses to Govt exchequer due to the lack of coordination between the executing agencies and the administration, Mir added (KNS)
