Illegal Trade Of LPG Gas busted in Awantipora: Police

Awantipora 29 Sept (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday claimed to have busted an illegal trade LPG Gas and have seized six LGP loaded gas tankers.
according to Police statement issued to KNS reads “Police station pampore received an information about the illegal trade of the LPG gas in LiterabaL area of Pampore Town and accordingly raided the place were gas tankers were illegally selling LPG gas by filling the cylinder with the gas from the tankers”.
06 LPG gas tankers have been seized at the place of raid . The details of seized tankers are : HR55AB-3696,HR55U-5698,PBO3A-3399,RJ14GF-9500,HR46D-3222 and NLO1K-7135.All these tankers were coming from outside the valley and were supposed to dump the tanker filled gas at Gas Bottling Plant Pampore, but instead were illegally selling some quantity of it to the private gas dealers.
The drivers of the seized gas tankers have also been arrested and were identified as:
police have identified the drivers as Vijay Singh resident of Kathua, Nasir Ahmad, Mohd Ramzan Bhat, Mohd Rafiq Sheikh, Chamail Sings and Prem Singh all resident of Distt Rajouri.
Moreover one Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02AG-0388 driven by Ishfaq Ahmad Dar resident of Lethpora was also seized which was laden with 22 cooking gas cylinder which were being refilled by these gas tankers.The driver of the Tata mobile has also been arrested. The arrested persons have been booked in case FIR No. 80/2020 of Police Station Pampore. Further investigation is going on police said (KNS)
