Srinagar, April 24( KNS): IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar today greeted the people and wished holy month of Ramadan will bring peace and prosperity in the J&K.
"I wish Ramdhan Mubarak to all Muslim. I hope the holy month will bring end to the woes of Covid19 . Let Muslims pray to God for blessings and mercy for the J&K, " he told KNS.
"Ramadan is a month for Muslim community to observe dawn to dusk fast to cleanse the soul and come closer to God (Allah)”.May this holy month of Ramadan bind us all together and spread peace, harmony and brotherhood in our state and our nation”
He also appealed the people to pray indoors for the safety of ourselves, families and society.
" This is a month of charity. Let us reach out to all needy people," he told KNS
IGP also said that Jammu and Kashmir police is always available for the support and help to the needy.(KNS)
