Srinagar, June 16 (KNS): Family members of Hurriyat (G) leader Ayaz Akbar Tuesday said that the health of jailed Hurriyat leader is worsening day by day and appealed authorities to provide him proper medical aid.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) over phone, family of Mohammad Ayaz Akbar said the jailed Hurriyat (G) leader is suffering from fever from last two weeks and is not being properly treated by Tihar jail authorities.
Family said they are apprehensive about his health as the jail is packed with inmates and there is a threat of Covid-19 infection.
" But Jail authorities are unmoved, He is suffering from fever and authorities have not taken his sample for Covid19 Screening. They are delaying it due to unknown reasons," they said.
They appealed authorities to provide him best medical treatment. (KNS)
