Srinagar, July 14 (KNS): Voices across Kashmir are growing over the demand of allowing asymptomatic air travellers for home quarantine after taking their samples at airport.
A group of passengers told KNS that it is "very unfortunate that Air travellers arriving at Srinagar Airport are taken from Srinagar Airport to Quarantine centres or Hotels like prisoners under security.
They are respectable people, who have much better facilities at home than these hotels & quarantine centres & are much safer at home. if the home quarantine option is available to all those who have Covid +ve contact history as it happened recently at Bandipora Kashmir, why is not this facility made avaible to asymptomatic Air travellers at Srinagar Airport."
"At the most their sampling could be done at Airport & their residential data Copy of Adhar card etc taken for further communication. This besides reducing rush on these centers could get some relief to these travellers," they told KNS.
