Srinagar, Jan 11 (KNS): Jammu-Srinagar Highway would remain closed for at least five more days, officials said.
The road was damaged after collapsing of the retaining wall at Kela Morh, Ramban.
“Jammu-Srinagar highway is closed due to sudden damage of bridge at Kela Morh, Ramban. It will take at least 05 days to repair the damaged bridge as stated by NHAI,” a traffic department official said. However, the official said, Jammu-Doda-Kishtwar, Jammu-Ramban, Magerkot- Banihal, and Banihal-Qazigund stretches are through for traffic. “People are requested to take their journey accordingly.”
Hundreds of vehicle are stranded on the highway from many days. (KNS)
