Srinagar, Jan 09 (KNS): Help Foundation J&K on Saturday distributed 179 winter kits to needy families besides provided ration to 70 poor families in north Kashmir’s district Kupwara.
An office bearer of HF said that winter kits contained two Korean mink blankets, cloth tweed measuring 7.5 meters, 3 hot water bottles and 2 kangri’s while ration kits contained 25 kg rice, 5 kg flour, edible oil 5 kg, sugar 1 kg, salt 2 kg, namkeen tea 500 gm, lipton tea 200 gm, turmeric powder 500 gm and chili powder 500 gm.
He said the effort was a part of providing helping hand to poor and needy in crisis. (KNS)
