Srinagar, Sept 30 (KNS): A day after JKPM senior leader Javaid Mustafa Mir claimed to have enjoying support of maximum executive members and deserves to be the party president, another senior functionary Feroze Peerzada on Wednesday contested his claims and stated “he may be the president but of other than JKPM”.
Talking to KNS, Peerzada while reacting sharply said that how come a person be the president who erstwhile has resigned from the party?.
“Javiad Mustafa Mir has already resigned from the party which he himself confessed during a presser”, he said.
Peerzada who was considered a close confidant of party’s founding president Dr Shah Faesal said, “A person having support of mere three to four members cannot lead the party”, adding Mir has brought few faces from Jammu and other areas just to befool people.
“I have 22 members with me who are jointly working for the wellbeing and betterment of party. We have already framed the body, elected district structure and presently functioning as per the constitution of party”, Feroze Peerzada claimed.
When asked about the claims of Mir, Peerzada said “He may be a president other than JKPM.
“He has nothing to do with affairs of party. He may be a president other than JKPM”, Peerzada said.
“It is something laughable that a person comes suddenly and claims president of the party. What if someone comes tomorrow from Shiv Sena and claim the president ship of the party? Would we accept that? No. Never”, Peerzada said. (KNS)
