Srinagar, April 08 (KNS): Handwara Police on Wednesday made a fervent appeal to people and appealed them to perform religious activity at their home and avoid congregational prayers in view of Shab-e-Barat.

According to Kashmir News (KNS), police said it is mandatory to stay away from any religious gathering at a time when Covid-19 spread has created scare across J&K.

It asked people to maintain social distancing so that the deadly disease can be controlled.

"Handwara Police is always on forefront of your service. Your safety is our success and your prosperity is our aim", it said. (KNS)
