Srinagar, June 14 (KNS): Chairman People Demonstratic Front, ( PDF) Hakeem Yaseen has paid rich tributes to the founding editor of english daily 'Rising kashmir ' and renowned literary figure, Shujaat Bukhari on his second death anniversary.
In a statement issued to KNS Hakeem Yaseen, while paying rich tribute to Shujat Bukhari, on his 2nd death anniversary, said that his contribution in the fields of journalism and literature would be remembered for long long ago. Shujat Bukhari was assassinated on June 14, 2018 outside his office in the Press Enclave Srinagar.
Hakeem Yaseen said that Shujat Bukhari was a nobel soul who never ever compromised on the principles and highest standards of Journalism. He always promoted sound journalism and unbiased reporting of facts without any fear or favour. " His demise has created a deep void in the fields of journalism and literature, which is very difficult to be filled, " Hakeem Yaseen maintained. He struggled hard for the promotion and preservation of his mother tounge - kashmiri. His had a good command on english, urdu and kashmiri literature and languags and his write ups and articles were admired and accepted by all.
Hakeem Yaseen has conveyed his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. (KNS)
