Kulgam, June 03 (KNS): The sudden hail storm on Wednesday after damaged huge stretches of orchards and other crops in dozens of villages in kulgam district. According to the villagers it was a hail storm of huge magnitude as almost it covered the fields and remained for few hours , It dashed the crops on the ground.

Those villages orchards and crops were damaged include Aharabal, watoo ,cheki watoo, Tangmarg, Aadbal Asnoor ,Korel ,Mirwani K.H pora , Gulshan Pora and Manzgam.The vilagers said that the hail storm has inflicted heavy damage on the fruit trees and other crops.

The villagers have appealed concerned revenue authorities and other wings of the administration to visit the affected villages so that the assessment is done without any delay.

The affected villagers have appealed DC kulgam to visit the damaged orchards and direct the concerned officials to prepare the assessment report of the damages. (KNS)
