Baramulla 08 June (KNS):Heavy rains and hailstorm damaged apple orchards, Vegetable, and many type of Corp on Monday afternoon in different parts of Baramulla in Kandi area.

Source said to KNS That Hailstorm continued for about 20 minutes in many areas of kandi in North kashmir.
He added that Apple trees, vegetables, Cherry, walnut, pear, and paddy crops completely damaged by hailstorm and rain in many parts if Kandi area like,Kalantara-Bala,Mirpora,Kachwamuqam,Kakothal,Bandi-Payeen,Danmoo,Mangaam,Tamgwari, Modan Daji area,Chainar area.
Meanwhile People of the area demanded compensation as hail storm damaged property and Due to Civid-19 lockdown we were dependent on local vegetables but hailstorm lashed out our hopes.
They have requested administration to give them some relief so that their sufferings will decrease said a Social activist Hilal Bin Gani of the area. (KNS)
