Srinagar, October 17(KNS): An Encounter broke out between militants and government forces in Larnoo area of South Kashmir's Anantnag district .

Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service said that joint team of army's 19RR, CRPF mad Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a cordon and search operation in Larnoo.

Offical sources said as the team surrounded the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, which was retaliated triggering off an gunfight.
