Srinagar Dec 03 (KNS):An Inaugural match was held between State Sports Council Football Academy and JK Bank
Football Club to kick off the Green Valley Winter Cup Football Tournament 2020, in the
school football ground on 3rd December 2020. Mr Sajid Dar, International football coach and
Mr Majid Yousuf, Executive Officer JK Sports Council, were present at the event as the
Guests of Honor. The tournament is organized by Green Valley Educational Institute
Ellahibagh Buchpora.
"This tournament has been organized to reestablish the zeal lost due to the ongoing
pandemic. It is aimed at bringing our lives back to normalcy post COVID19. Our school takes
pleasure and honor in upholding its legacy of bringing people together by the means of
sports", said Mr Riyaz Kathjoo, the Vice Principal of GVEI(KNS).
