Govt. imposes night curfew like restrictions in J&K

Srinagar, May 04 (KNS): Government of J&K on Monday said that prohibitory restrictions from 7pm to 7 am to be imposed in all areas across the state and added only medical emergencies will be exempted.

Spokesperson of J&K Government Rohit Kansal tweeted, "Prohibitions (Curfew) on movement in ALL areas between 7 PM and 7 AM. No movement without passes. Medical emergencies exempted".

Notably after spike in Covid-19 caseloads across the country, MHA couple of days ago extended countrywide lockdown for two more weeks till May 17. Kashmir Valley witnessed huge increase in Covid-19 positive cases from last week taking the overall toll across UT to 700 plus. (KNS)
