Srinagar, June 03 (KNS): Fruit growers and dealers association Mawer Handwara on Wednesday alleged that no team from horticulture department have visited in the area to check the orchards.

General secretary of the association Farooq Ahmad Ganie said none of the official from the department have visited the area during this pandemic time as the scab in the orchards have been spread leaving farmers to distress.

However when contacted to Chief Horticulture Officer Kupwara Farooq Ahmad he said that a team from Handwara have been sent to check the issues of the fruit growers of the area (KNS)
