Srinagar, Sep 08 (KNS): Department of Biotechnology, Govt Degree College, Baramulla, in collaboration withThe Team MANAV, IISER, Pune organised a webinar on the topic “How to Read Scientific Literature?” and “Introduction to MANAV- The Human Atlas Initiative”. Around 200 participants attended the webinar including faculty members, PhD scholars, PG and UG students from different degree colleges and University of Kashmir and Central University of Kashmir.
Dr. Dhara Patel Lekhar from IISER, Pune, resource person for the webinar lucidly explained to the participants the different sections of a research paper and the information given in each section and how to effectively read a paper. She then explained about the MANAV project of the Department of Biotechnology and its main aim to build a human atlas by curation of knowledge available in literature and databases.
