Doda July 02:(KNS) A JCB machine and a tractor trolley were seized for illegal extraction of minor mineral, here from Bisran Nalha at Gandoh.

The SDM Pritam Lal Thap, during a surprise visit to the area, found the JCB machine and Tractor trollies extracting the minor minerals from Bisran nalla without Permission from mining and geology department.

The Station House Officer and Naib-Tehsildar Changa were directed to seize the JCB machine and tractor trolley and keep strict vigil on illegal mining.

The SDM also directed District Mining Officer, Doda to initiate proceedings under Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 against the culprits.(KNS0
