Ganderbal police prevents two youth from joining militancy

Srinagar, March 16 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesday claimed to have brought back two youth from Ganderbal and prevented them from joining the militants ranks. 

 

Senior superintendent of police, Ganderbal Khail Poswal told KNS that the two youth hailing from hailing from Batwina and Kurhama areas of Ganderbal who had left home to join militant ranks have been brought back.

 

He said that they were motivated through social media and had gone to Shopian, where they were tracked and brought back.

 

SSP said that the duo was captured from Shopian and were with them now in Ganderbal and were being counselled. (KNS)
