Four Shopkeepers Violating Lockdown Guidelines Booked In Reasi

Reasi, July 17 (KNS): Police on Friday booked four shopkeepers in Reasi district of Jammu region in connection with violation of Covid-19 lockdown guidelines.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Reasi Police registered FIRs against 04 shopkeepers/owners for not closing down their shops in Reasi in wake of spread of Corona virus outbreak. The action was taken by Reasi Police in Municipal and Rural area. During patrolling Police party found that some shopkeepers didn’t close their shops beyond the permitted time slots which were clearly violating the Covid-19 rules and against the orders issued by District Magistrate Reasi.
The violators include Rahil Khan alias Kali son of Mohammad Aslam of Ward No. 02 Reasi, Deepu son of Ram Chand of Karamjeetpur, Dwarka A/P Trintha, Reasi, Sanjeet Singh alias Sonu son of Rajinder Singh of Nai Bast, Javid Mir alias Sonu son of Late Abdul Rashid of Ward No. 07 Reasi and Tilak Raj son of Govind Ram resident of Ward No. 04 Sula Reasi.In this regard, case FIR No.s 76/2020 ,77/2020, 78/2020 and 79/2020 (respectively) U/S 188/IPC stands registered at P/S Reasi against said Shopkeepers and investigation is going on.
Meanwhile Reasi Police warned the shopkeepers/owners/customers to follow the guidelines strictly otherwise similar action may also be taken against them. (KNS)
