Srinagar, April 16 (KNS): The forest department has retrieved 20 kanals of wooden land from encroachers in Magam forest range in north Kashmir, Range officer Magam Rashid-ud-din Pandith said on Thursday.

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), he said the department carried Forest Encroachment Eviction drive in Compartment No 41 in Anderkoot Magam of Forest Range Magam by the forest officials of Forest Division, Langate with active support of BO control room and BO Kukroosa.

According to official, 20 Kanals of encroached forest land were retrieved from the encroachers in the operation.

"Forest Territorial Department has retrieved 20 kanals of illegally occupied forest land from encroachers", he said. (KNS)
