Srinagar, Feb 15 (KNS):   Five persons died in a road accident when a vehicle they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge in Doda district on Monday evening.

SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed told KNS that an Eco vehicle on way from Doda to Batote fell into deep gorge at Rangi Nallah in Batote Doda.   
He told KNS that  bodies of only three persons have been recovered so far.

The official identified them as  as Bhag Devi , Chander Rekha, Ishan residents of  Nagri Doda, Rakesh Kumar of Ganikha Bhagwa and driver Ajit Singh Bijarni Doda.
"a girl namely Anya who was also in ill-fated vehicle has survived and is stable," he told KNS.
