Family stuck in Delhi appeals for early evacuation

Srinagar, April 28 (KNS): A family from summer capital Srinagar stuck in New Delhi Tuesday appealed Jammu and Kashmir administration to ensure their early evacuation.

A sister and his brother from Ghazalabad HMT road Srinagar are stranded in Ward No 01, Mehrauli, New Delhi told KNS that since restrictions were imposed in wake of Covid-19 pandemic they have gone into mental distress which affected their health badly. They said that they don’t have proper arrangements for Sehri and Iftar.

Insha Bhat told KNS over phone that her parents are worried about their wellbeing because we are disconnected with each other since countrywide lockdown is enforced.

She appealed J&K administration to evacuate them at earliest so that they will come out from this tough time.
She added they are voluntarily ready to quarantine themselves after reaching Kashmir.

She further said that her other colleagues are also stuck at nearby places in New Delhi whose relatives and near ones are also worried for router their safety. She added in wake of Ramadhan, stranded Kashmiris are unable to get essential commodities for their survival. (KNS)
