Srinagar, Sep 08 (KNS): Former Vice Chairman, JK Cements Ltd, Er. Nazir Ahmad Yatoo on Tuesday visited various areas of Charar-e-Sharif constituency.
Er Nazir Yatoo addressed several gathering where people from adjoining areas apprised him about various problems faced by them.
According to statement issued to KNS reads, Yatoo was informed by locals that the water tanks, where from the drinking water is supplied to these areas, lack filtration plant, even a bottle neck.
Er Nazir Yatoo said that, most of the villages of this area are doubly vulnerable to the Covid-19 spread due to frequent outages of drinking water that is preventing people from the WHO-guided handwash protocol. Yatoo was informed that the consumers in Charar-e-Sharif area find it difficult to maintain requisite hygiene amid the mounting Covid-19 threat.
Yatoo was also informed by the local delegations about the bad condition of roads in these areas.
Assuring the people of a time bound fulfilment of their demands, Yatoo said he is committed for the people's welfare and urged the district administration budgam and Lt Governor led administration to solve these demands as soon as possible.
