Srinagar, May 14 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and Ex VC JK Cements, Er Nazir Ahmad Yatoo on Thursday said the killing of a youth by a CRPF man in Kawoosa area of Budgam district on Wednesday as "another needless death in a bloody Kashmir".

Expressing grave concern over the continuing bloodshed in Kashmir, Er Nazir Ahmad Yatoo said that killing innocent people every day had become the norm in Kashmir.

In a statement issued to KNS, senior PDP leader said that uncontrolled killing of innocent people at the hands of the security forces had exposed that the LG-led government was a mute spectator to the atrocities inflicted on civilians.

The number of deaths had crossed hundreds since from last few years, but the central government had not learn any lesson yet. He regretted that instead of healing the wounds of the people, centre had intensified the policy of brutal use of force, which was evident from the incident that had occurred in Budgam on Wednesday.

Yatoo said, we have seen in past what happened to probes, No probe is enough to bring back the dead innocent lives. Kashmir has been reeling under fear since the Article 370 was removed. Is this what was expected from LG rule? The admin has failed in securing civilian lives, he added. (KNS)
