27000 Students enrolled sofar:CEO Kupwara

Mawer, Dec 19 (KNS): An enrollment drive was in today held at Education Zone Mawer in north Kashmir's Handwara, during the drive 215 students were enrolled in different schools of the area.

According to reports a mega enrollment drive was held at Middle School Audoora were hundreds of students, their parents and several others were present on the occasion.

From age group 3-5 years old 215 students were got enrolled in the schools.

Zonal education officer (ZEO) Qalamabad Mohammed Maqbool Lone highlighted the role of teachers of the education zone and expressed his satisfaction over the performance of the teachers.

Lone said that 36 teachers from this zone has enrolled their children in Government schools.

Speaking on the occasion BDC Mawer Tahir Aftab hails the role of teachers and said that in coming days he will enroll his children in government school.

On the conclusion of the program CEO Kupwara Abdul Hameed Fani stressed the Peoples to provide education to their children and said that he will all support to their children.

Talking to reporters on the sideline of the function CEO said that since the drive was begin 27000 students has enrolled in Government schools across the district Kupwara.

He also distributed the stationary among the students.

Those who spoke to the occasion are Mir Fayaz, Muneer Ahmad Khan, Syed Aijaz Geelani besides them Headmaster High school Qalamabad Akther Naseem, DRJ Gayoor Ahmad, Gulam Hassan War, Zaffer Ali Khan, Abdul Rashid Beigh, Waseem Gaffar, Javid Iqbal Mir, javid Ahmad Khan, Mohsin Ahsan War, were present during the function.
