Handwara, June 10 (KNS): District Manager CSC-e governance services, Ministry of electronics & Information technology Dr Javid Maqbool interacts with BDC Chairman & all members of Block Development Council Mawer Qalamabad, All the concerned sarpanchs of the block were present in the meeting. The meeting was convened on the directions of Worthy DDC Kupwara Anshul Garg IAS. During the meeting each and every scheme of CSC was thoroughly discussed. During the meeting the all the aspects of CSC schemes were discussed it was decided that each and every scheme of CSC will be implemented in the Gram Panchayat in letter and spirit. District Manager CSC briefed the Members about each and every scheme, how it can be helpful to the poor people especially during this pandemic. It is worth to mention here that schemes of CSC like Dig pay, Insurance , eStore etc were the best services which were given to the needy people at their doorsteps During this Pandemic to withdraw money, and delievery of products at doorsteps. Dr Javid also said that the vision of CSC Is to develop CSCs as a reliable and ubiquitous IT enabled network of citizens service points connecting local population with government departments, business establishments, banks , insurance companies and educational institutions with an impact on primary secondary and tertiary sectors of the country’s economy

While elaborating the importance of Common service Cebtre’s for each Gram Panchayat Dr Javid said, “ The aim of the csc is to act as bridge between government & common villagers for facilities at doorsteps. A villager has not to visit town/ cities for facilities like DigiPay, GST,Income tax return,Adhaar facility, registration of labour card, payment for NREGA workers, cash facility, computer training for all villagers to educate them about basic computer skills, use of android, internet & online payments under PMGDISHA, National pension schemes etc.”PMSYM,PMKMY,NPS,PMJAY(Ayushman Bhaarat Gold Card),Tele law,Tele Medicine,7th Economic Census,CSC Academy,Cyber security,Diginame(Digital Identity,Websites,National Institute of Open school,Banking Services HDFC smart accounts,Pan Cards,Passport seva,Insurance,PWD(Skill),CSC e-Grameen Store,Transport Services ,fast tag etc Besides educating sarpanchs regarding government schemes for the common people & involvement of gram panchayat at every level, Dr Javid Maqsood urged all sarpanch to designate one honest, dedicated & capable Village level entrepreneur for each CSC, so that villagers will get the benefit without any hurdle from government schemes.

BDC chairman Tahir Ahmad thanked Worthy Depty commissioner Kupwara Anshul Garg (IAS), ADC Kupwara Nazir Ahmad Lone,ACD Kupwara G M Bhat,DPO Kupwara Shujhat Ahmad , ADDC Kupwara Ashraf Sb, Dr Javid Maqbool & all district officers for their dedication & hard work in implementing government schemes at gross root leve and assured full support along with his team for the implementation of each and every scheme in their block. Tahir Ahmad urged Dr Javid Maqbool to make frequent visits to Mawer block so that general public & PRI members will get information about the schemes & use digital platform for upliftment of downtrodden people
CSC e-Goverance Services Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) under “Digital India” initiative is enabling setting up of Common Services Centres (CSCs) in all the Panchayats across the country.The objective is to setup atleast one (1) CSC in every Gram Panchayat.The CSC is ICT enabled access point - operated, managed and run by local entrepreneur.Both the Central Government and State Government utilize the CSC for delivery of various G2C and B2C services to the citizens. Besides providing services to the citizens*,the CSCs are creating local employment and atleast 4-5 persons are engaged in every CSC.The CSCs are also being utilized for digital literacy program for enabling one (1) person in every family to be made digitally literate.All the CSCs are also authorized Banking Correspondents of various banks to extend banking services.All these CSCs are extending financial services like Cash Withdrawal, Cash Deposit, Account Opening etc.In this regard You are requested to identify one person from Your Gram Panchayat.List of Services provided by Common Service Centers-
